Hephaestus and Dionysus

Hephaistos or Hephaestus, son of Zeus and Hera, was born on Mount Olympus. According to legend, his mother, disgusted with his face, threw him out so the child broke a leg and became lame. By his father’s wish, Hephaestus, when adult, returned home in the company of Dionysus.
